Between the builds 11 and 12 I went through some coding rabbit holes. Originally I was thinking of one-room puzzles and ladders going up and down between them, presumably only going downwards in a very simple puzzle-game fashion. I fought a while with save game files, and ended up abandoning them altogether. So I decided to make a game without saving, but wanted to have more than one screen of puzzles. So, in this build there’s another screen on the right.

Compared to the previous build, the yellow door is there telling us that it’s the final goal, but the yellow key is not on the screen. I kept the rest of this room the same puzzle in order to emphasize the change to my playtester friends.

The second screen’s puzzle is the first iteration of this idea where I wanted to really showcase you can push an endless amount of boxes with your swing.

Note: You can’t pick up boxes through the low walls here, but that got changed at one point. I sort of accidentally made the boxes pickable through the low walls later, but I think it is consistent with the other mechanics surrounding the low walls. Also it’s very frustrating to accidentally drop a box behind a low wall.
